Due to peer pressure, I’m now using MyFitnessPal on my phone to track my intake and exercise.
I haven’t given up beer, but I’ve cut back and fit it in to my calorie budget.
In any case, I’m hungry all the time.
More later.

Intake valve stuck, rusted open. A stuck seatpost. Will require fire/heat to close.
Fire! Fire!
i am a huge fan of my fitness pal. i think it is a great way for peer pressure to keep me accountable. good luck!
Oh man, you sound miserable! I’m sorry you’re hungry all the time. If you’re sure you’re getting enough calories every day, then it’s probably pretty much psychological. Weight Watchers allows free fruit, so whenever I am hungry I grab some cherries, or watermelon. When fruit doesn’t sound good to me, then I know that the “hunger” is probably due to my head, and not my belly.
Try hard not to think of yourself “on a diet,” because of course that implies “going off” the diet when you’re finished. If you want to be normal weight and healthy, you will never be finished — you will just be adding a few more calories to your weight loss calorie budget in order to maintain. So, try to find a way of eating that you can enjoy for the rest of your life. Eat your favorite healthy foods, and have the occasional burger and fries, which I know you love. Plan for a few ‘treat’ meals, but make them very occasional.
I don’t know why I’m telling you this stuff anyway, because you know all this already! You’re good at losing weight. I think I’m just typing it out to reinforce it in my own mind. 🙂 I’m down 40 lbs. now, 30 more to go, and I feel fantastic.
I even have several martinis a week! Life is good.
