Pushing Hard – Under 200 Again

Today is the third day in a row that I rode to work.  It’s getting harder every day.  I’m still trying to make it until the end of the week.

I haven’t started my truck since Sunday.  I haven’t paid for parking or used any gas this week.  That’s quite nice.

In addition, my weight was below 200 again this morning.  I had dropped below 200 a while back, but I gained it back.  I guess I need to watch my eating and push myself harder on the bike to continue the weight loss.  Nobody ever said this would be easy.

  1. On my ride home today, I convinced myself that I wasn’t going to ride tomorrow. I had a lousy ride.

    I feel better now, and will ride, but I imagine it’ll be hard to get going in the morning.

  2. Sorry you had a lousy ride. Did you run into obnoxious drivers? Some days my walking is effortless and enjoyable, and some days I am practically dragging myself. I’m down just about 19 lbs, so I’m very happy about that. I feel a lot better.

  3. I had to deal with two obnoxious drivers and one clueless one. I was also very tired, and traveled very slowly. I am riding today, but I’m switching back to the recumbent to see if I do any better.

    I’d really rather crawl back into bed, but I have to go to work.
