I really enjoyed my weekend. I went to see Wicked with my daughter and ex-wife on Saturday. I highly recommend going to the show if you can. I’m not normally a fan of musicals, but this one is very well done.
Other than that my weekend was spent indoors at home. I had plenty of housework and other tasks to keep me busy. I also managed to get some computer stuff done that I needed to. However, I ate too much, and didn’t ride my bike at all. Then I was up too late last night, and didn’t get up early enough to ride today.
My weight has been climbing for the last few days. The weather doesn’t look good for riding for the rest of this work week, so I may have to spend some time working on sit-ups and push-ups.
Like you, I was up too late last night. It was hard to get out of bed this morning, but I struggled through it and rode to work. I may or may not get to ride the rest of the week–we’ll see.
Yeah, I really regretted not riding today after seeing the weather forecast. Today was the best bet for a ride.
Maybe I can squeeze in my 11-mile loop after I get home this evening, but it could be raining by then.
Let’s hope for very little precipitation this week. 🙂
The CJ gave the show a good review to.
Am I wrong to think it is like a pre Wisard of Oz tale?
Mark,
I don’t want to give too much away… It’s more than just a pre-Wizard of Oz story.
You really should go see it. There is the “lottery” at the box office (2.5 hours before each show) to get tickets for $25 each. I paid over $70 each 🙁
It’s playing through February 1st.
I’d never been to a “Broadway Musical”, or even a real play. I never have liked musicals on TV, but this was an incredible experience.
