My original plans for today included a 75-mile ride. I wasn’t feeling up to it this morning, and considered staying home.
I realized that I actually have to work at it to lose weight, so I scaled back my plans. I chose a 38-mile route.
I got lost a couple of times, and missed a turn, and had to backtrack, so the distance turned out around 45 miles. I’m not disappointed about not doing the 75-mile route. This ride was long enough to be a good workout, but short enough that I can still ride tomorrow.
